Welcome to PRISM LGBTQ+ Community Center of Pottstown

Mission Statement

At PRISM, we are dedicated to cultivating a safe, affirming, and empowering space where LGBTQ+ individuals and allies can forge meaningful connections, access vital resources, and celebrate their authentic selves. United in purpose, we strive to create a future where every identity is honored, love is embraced, and true belonging is a reality for all.

Vision Statement

PRISM is built on the belief that community changes everything. We’re working to create a world where all LGBTQ+ people feel affirmed and uplifted through inclusive programming, meaningful connections, and transformative services.

Core Values

At PRISM, our core values shape every action we take and every connection we foster:

  • Diversity: We celebrate the richness of identities, experiences, and perspectives within our community, recognizing that our collective strength lies in our differences.

  • Inclusivity: We are committed to cultivating a welcoming environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued—regardless of gender, sexual orientation, background, or identity.

  • Allyship: We uplift and empower one another through active support, advocacy, and solidarity, ensuring that every voice is championed and every individual is embraced.

How to Enter the Building

The building’s sign reads “Mission First” and an additional sign says “FBC." You enter through the door inside the front gate where you will find a greeter to show you in; once inside you may choose the elevator or the stairs to the second floor. You may leave the way you came, exiting to your left in the courtyard and through the crashbar, or you may leave the worship space by the back doors, down the stairs onto the street. Someone will be glad to show you the way!
